Warren Fox (Jamie Lomas) has made some big mistakes in Hollyoaks over the years but he’s seemingly on the cusp of his biggest to date as he cheats on Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe) with one of his exes.
The hard-man rekindled things with Mercedes earlier this year, believing her to be his one true love.
It’s been a tumultuous journey towards happiness, with respective love interests Gemma Johnson (Tisha Merry) and Jenson Cole (Ryan Clayton) obstacles that were difficult to overcome – but it seemed as if they’d managed to get their act together and give things a proper go.
But little do they know that Gemma is still very much holding a candle for Warren – and she will do whatever it takes to get Mercedes out of the way so that she can reunite with him.
Mercedes, however, unknowingly makes things easier for her next week when she decides to let Sienna Blake (Anna Passey) see Sebastian (Teddie Williamson) – against Warren’s wishes.
Warren is determined to keep Sienna, who attempted to pin the blame for Clare Devine’s (Gemma Bissix) ‘murder’ on their daughter Sophie, away from their children at all costs but, knowing what’s it like to be kept away from your kids, Mercedes ultimately lets her see Seb.
Warren is fuming when he finds out. After a row and needing some space, Mercedes packs up her belongings. Sienna, meanwhile, turns up at the flat, wanting to see the kids once more but Warren well and truly lets her know his answer by slamming the door shut in her face!
Jenson, meanwhile, encourages Warren to let his hair down and have a good night, leading him towards ex Gemma. Warren proves comforting towards Gemma and one thing leads to another as they hook up.
Jenson, as fans know, is still in love with Mercedes. And with Gemma still keen on rekindling things with Warren, it seems the pair are one step closer to getting what they want.
Later in the week, Sophie misses Sienna and Warren offers support. He and Sienna are soon on the same page after she apologises for driving a wedge between him and Mercedes.
The former high school teacher advises Warren to make things right with Mercedes, unaware that he’s racked with guilt over cheating on his other half with Gemma.
Will Warren’s secret come out? What’s more, will Gemma – or Jenson, for that matter – use his betrayal as leverage to get what they want?
