Airing earlier today, the Warframe February 2024 Devstream provided more information around a fresh mission type, a loot goblin enemy, and Warframe Inaros rework specifics.
Dante, Digital Extremes’ 56th Warframe, brings with him the power of Exalted Weapon Noctua. This Tome has the ability to replace any currently equipped secondary weapon. Players will be able to cast either Light or Dark Verses to increase allies’ max health, or can draw blood-slashing needles to inflict Slash Damage nearby. Much like classic MMO casters, the pattern of abilities used is able to change the spell combo’s ultimate finishing ability Final Verse. The latest mission type, Deep Archimedea, the latest mission type, serves as a combination of three different existing mission types. Played in succession with no breaks, the composition will change weekly. New to Warframe is the greedy loot goblin Gruzzling. New weapons can also be had in the ARMATUS Entrati Disruption mission: the melee fist weapon, Ruvox, and the secondary arm-cannon, Onos. Finally, Inaros, the living sandstorm Warframe, will feature a rework. This brings with it a more engaging passive ability, guaranteed status effect triggers, and overall changes to his base kit. Other changes include separating the Scarab Armor mechanic into its own ability, replacing Devour with an improved Sandstorm for faster summoning and movement speeds, and giving the Scarab Swarm ultimate a chance to summon sandy friendlies.Want to see it for yourself? Note that the next Devstream will occur in-person at PAX East next month. While there, fans will be able to meet the dev team and the lead voice of Arthur in the upcoming Warframe: 1999: Ben Starr (Final Fantasy XVI’s Clive Rosfield).
Can’t make it? The PAX Edition Devstream will air live on both the PAX and Warframe Twitch channels on March 22 at 3pm ET. There will be more major announcements that will celebrate 11 years of Warframe, including what’s next for the story before things go back to the 90s later this year.
Megan Everett, Community Director, said the following:
“It’s been over five years since we went to a PAX! Celebrating our 11th Anniversary there feels like the perfect way to reconnect with our Tenno again in-person. We are bringing tons of Dante and 1999 info nuggets to share at our panel and great vibes for our sold-out TennoVIP community event.”Megan Everett
