Many videos are being circulated on the internet where Indian cricketer Virat Kohli was spotted with Anushka Sharma going towards their car at Mumbai Airport after attending the victory parade, which happened at Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. The Zero film actress donned a black T-shirt with baggy blue jeans, while the cricketer looked handsome in a white shirt paired with sky-blue jeans.
For the unversed, on Tuesday, after beating Punjab Kings in the final match of IPL 2025, Royal Challengers Bengaluru finally won their first IPL title in 18 years at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. For this, a grand celebration, which involved a trophy parade, was scheduled to take place in Bengaluru near the Chinnaswamy Stadium. The victory parade involved an open-top bus, which was followed by a huge crowd of RCB fans who turned up to greet their favorite players. However, that festive atmosphere quickly turned tragic as close to 2 lakh fans gathered near the stadium, which overwhelmed the security forces. The situation quickly got out of control, resulting in a stampede that injured over 45 people and killed 15 people, casting a shadow over the heartfelt celebration from the fans.
Following the tragic incident, Anushka Sharma, Virat Kohli, and the RCB Team Management have shared an official statement saying, "We are deeply anguished by the unfortunate incidents that have come to light through media reports regarding public gatherings all over Bengaluru in anticipation of the team's arrival this afternoon. The safety and well-being of everyone is of utmost importance to us. RCB mourns the tragic loss of lives and extend our heartfelt condolences to the affected families. Immediately upon being made aware of the situation, we promptly amended our program, and followed, the guidance and advice of the local administration."
