Norma, who came to fame with her joint social media channel with her granddaughter Jess, has died at the age of 91.
Jess and Norma are viral TikTok stars who delighted fans with their videos about their funny moments as a grandmother and granddaughter duo.
The pair’s social media account has been quiet for the past couple of months, and on Monday night, it was announced that Norma had died at the age of 91.
Announcing the news to their 2.7 million followers, the Jess and Norma TikTok account posted: ’05/06/25 the day our family lost our rock, our everything, our beautiful, precious, perfect lady.
‘We are all truly devastated and our lives will never be the same. We want you all to know that Nan fell to sleep peacefully, surrounded by all her family, she was full of love and had the most beautiful care. If anyone deserves a place in heaven, it’s you Nanny Norma.’
The post reflected how much the star enjoyed being on TikTok and that she enjoyed being part of the online community.
‘Social media and our community online made Nan’s last years so incredibly special, her cup was full and in her own words she “lived such a wonderful life”.
’91 years was never going to be enough and she has left the biggest hole in all of our hearts. Reunited with her husband and family, until we meet again, our queen 💔’
The videos from Jess and Norma were usually comedy-based and saw the pair try out viral trends, pranks, and funny interactions because of their generational gap.
Fans have been devastated by the star’s death and have taken to social media to pay tribute.
‘Sending you and your family so much love. Norma brought so much joy to so many, she reminded me of my own Nanna (I would sometimes watch your videos with tears of joy) and helped me heal, as I’m sure is the case for so many people on here. What a special lady and family you are ♥️’ commented Jade Thirlwall.
‘I’m so sorry for yours and your family’s loss, Jess ❤️❤️,’ said TikTok star Charley Marlowe.
‘all of tiktok is mourning this loss ❤️,’ commented Jedward.
‘I’m gutted so sorry for your loss, your nan has changed our lives in such a positive way. Please start a go fund me so we can slip a cheeky £10 like she used to do to you❤️🩹,’ commented soph_blondeyxoxo.
