A source has claimed Victoria Beckham is ‘devastated’ by her family rift after Brooklyn Beckham and wife Nicola Peltz were noticeably absent from David’s 50th celebrations.
David turned 50 last weekend and celebrated in style with a raucous, star-studded event that was apparently shut down by the local council in Notting Hill after the party went on until 3.35 am.
Notably absent from the event was Victoria and David’s eldest son, Brooklyn, 26, amid claims that there is a feud between the Beckham family and Brooklyn and his wife Nicola, 30.
Speaking to Metro, a source has now explained that Victoria is desperately hoping that Brooklyn will ‘come around’ as she has found the fallout ‘devastating’.
‘Victoria hates to think about her family being so divided, especially with it involving one of her children. Brooklyn’s absence at David’s 50th birthday party was noticeable and she desperately wished he would have been there,’ said the source.
‘She’s hoping Brooklyn will come around and see things for what they are. They’ve always been a close-knit family and seeing how things are now has been devastating for Victoria and David.’

Reaching out to his son, David made an olive branch gesture earlier in the week, telling his son that he was ‘missed’ from a boys’ trip fishing in Scotland as part of his birthday celebrations.
Posting on Instagram, David explained: ‘Six months ago I planned a trip with my boys at the start of last week to camp and fish for my 50th was so much fun.’
He then posted photos taken on the holiday, including images of himself with his two sons. A few hours later, he shared a selfie he’d taken with Romeo and Cruz, acknowledging Brooklyn’s absence.
‘Fun times in Scotland, he wrote.
‘You were missed,’ he added, tagging his eldest son in the post.

Over the past few weeks, there’s been significant speculation about a reported fallout in the family, which also includes Brooklyn’s wife, Nicola Peltz, 30.
It has been suggested that Kim Turnball, Romeo’s new girlfriend, dated Brooklyn before she got into a relationship with Romeo, which has caused a rift between the brothers.
Although Cruz has rubbished claims that Brooklyn and Kim ever dated, it has still been reported that there are ongoing tensions within the family.

A source also told Metro that Brooklyn is keen to patch things up with his father and was sad not to attend the party.
‘Brooklyn feels disappointed in himself for not attending David’s 50th birthday party. David was truly in his element surrounded by all of his family and closest friends, it was a great time all around.
‘He wants things to go back to how they were, but it feels as if the divide has separated the family deeply. Nicola isn’t pushing him to repair things either. He’s married now and his wife will continue to be his biggest focus,’ they said.
Metro has reached out to representatives for Victoria Beckham, David Beckham, and Brooklyn Beckham for comment.
