Some of Tupac “2Pac” Shakur’s earliest work has been unearthed. A small selection of his unreleased music from 1990 is set to be auctioned for $250,000.

TMZ reports that 2Pac’s art is still very much high in demand, even 26 years later. Momentsintime.com has announced it has acquired some recordings from the late great rapper, before he went solo. According to the listing, 2Pac “composed and recorded an unreleased album for a group called Jesse and the Kidz. It was never released due to the tragic death of one of the band members.” The auction house also states that 2Pac leads off three of the album’s tracks.

In addition to the never before heard music, Momentsintime.com is also selling 2Pac’s written lyrics from the Jesse and the Kidz sessions. He apparently penned the song, “The Street Got Ya Babiez” while on the West Coast, as it was written on the now closed Hotel De Ville West Hollywood stationary. The same paper contains the acronym for the word “n*gga” (Never Ignorant Getting Goals Accomplished), maybe the first time the rapper ever used the term.
