Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) causes concern in Coronation Street soon, as he disappears hours before Craig Tinker’s (Colson Smith) memorial.

The local copper was killed a few weeks ago by Mick Michaelis (Joe Layton).

Craig had started his shift hoping to shadow Kit on CID, but he was distracted as a result of Mick learning that he isn’t Brody’s (Ryan Mulvey) father.

If Kit wasn’t preoccupied, the day would’ve played out entirely differently.

Wanting to prove himself to his colleague, Craig headed off to attend a distress call, but then ended up getting attacked by Mick, who hit him with a cricket bat.

Craig died in hospital as a result of his injuries.

Towards the end of the week, Kit faced another nightmare when Mick held Bernie (Jane Hazlegrove) hostage.

In upcoming episodes, an already guilt ridden Kit reveals to Lisa (Vicky Myers) that Craig’s family want him to make a speech at the memorial.

On the morning of the event though, Sarah (Tina O’Brien) wakes up and realises Kit has already left for the day.

As the mourners gather in the Bistro to remember Craig, Lisa realises that Kit still hasn’t turned up.

Concern growing, Bernie and Sarah attempt to get hold of Kit, as Swain is forced to step in and make a speech about Craig instead.

It’s timed well enough to cover, but what has happened to Kit?
