Dead City season 2, episode 3 brought the series' core protagonists the closest they've been since season 1, when Negan kills a member of the Burazi to save Hershel (Logan Kim). He disappears afterward, but Maggie is now determined to find him, becoming notably obsessive about why he saved her son. Meanwhile, he's continuing to be forced to work for the Dama and the Croat (Željko Ivanek).
