The first trip Trump made when he became president was to Saudi Arabia. Why? Why was his unqualified 36 yr-old son-in- law, Jared Kushner, made a senior aide to the Middle East? Why did Kushner broker a $2 billion dollar deal with Saudi Arabia to manage a fund that so far has added no money to the investment? WHY HAS THE POLITICALLY SKITTISH DOJ LED BY ATTORNEY GENERAL MERRITT GARLAND UNDER-INVESTIGATED POTENTIAL CONSTITUTIONAL VIOLATIONS AND THE NATIONAL SECURITY DANGERS CREATED BY THE TRUMPS? THE CORRUPTION TRUMP HAS INJECTED INTO THE REPUBLICAN PARTY HAS BEEN ENABLED BY THE COMPLICIT GOP, IT’S BASE, AND THE OVERLY-CAUTIOUS US ATTORNEY GENERAL.

How does conducting business with foreign governments by a president or former president  damage national security? The potential for profit from doing business with foreign governments can influence how a president conducts the business of the presidency. The issue of personal gain entering into the business of foreign policy is dangerous. Trump violated the Emoluments Clause of the Constitution which restricts a president from accepting presents from foreign leaders without the consent of Congress.

The former Trump attorney Michael Cohen confirmed that Trump was trying to negotitiate a deal with Russia for a Trump Tower Moscow during to the 2016 election. What was he willing to give Putin in order to build another gaudy bldg that the world has no need for?

The level of insatiable greed that runs through Trump’s veins is a toxic threat to America’s national security. Putin is currently spreading disinformation about democrats to influence the outcome of the 2024 election in favor of Trump. Putin is a wealth addict like Trump and it seems they aim to support each other’s pursuit of money and power.

The people of the United States shouldn’t have to worry that their president’s approach to foreign powers could be influenced by the possibility of profiting from those powers after leaving the White House.

Character counts. Committing fraud, sexual assault, lying, adultery, and insurrection is disqualifying for any public official, especially for a president.
