Lawyers at hip-hop mogul’s trial give opening statements after attorneys on both sides removed several jurors
Prosecutors in the high-profile racketeering and sex-trafficking trial of Sean “Diddy” Combs have declared during opening statements that “there was another side” to the hip-hop mogul that “ran a criminal enterprise”, adding: “This case is not about a celebrity’s private sexual preferences.”
Combs, 55, was arrested in September 2024 and has been charged with one count of racketeering conspiracy, two counts of sex trafficking and two counts of transportation for prostitution – all felony charges.
