With the capable and unpredictable curation of Peter Kuplowsky and his team of brave pre-screeners, the Midnight Madness (MM) sidebar at the Toronto International Film Festival continues to be one of the favourite parts of TIFF here at Screen Anarchy. The loaded line-up just dropped, and it has some special treats in there, including Rogue Trooper, the latest film from Duncan Jones (Moon, Source Code) opening MM, and The Love Witch director, Anna Biller's follow up, The Face Of Horror (pictured above) closing the sidebar. For those who have never had the treat of a Matt Barats film or performance, I hope Anchors Aweigh is the dead pan auteur's coming out party.
