Topman’s new autumn jackets start from £35 and solve every cold-weather wardrobe dilemma

Autumn is officially here, and every wardrobe needs one thing before the temperature drops any further: a good jacket. 

Luckily, Topman has just dropped its new autumn collection, filled with versatile designs that’ll take you from crisp morning commutes to cosy weekend plans.

From denim to twill, waterproof utility styles to suede and shearling, a good-quality jacket can be worn with pretty much everything, add extra warmth, and even layer under bigger coats when temperatures turn Baltic.

One that caught our eye is this oversized fit twill nylon funnel neck bomber jacket. It’s a vibrant shade of red with a spacious fit, so you can wear it over t-shirts and jumpers without adding bulk.  Plus, if your wardrobe is looking a bit beige, it’s a welcoming splash of colour. If red isn’t your thing, it comes in khaki, too.

Speaking of colour, this twill harrington jacket comes in a vibrant burnt orange hue that just screams autumn. The patch pockets are practical enough to fit your phone, keys and headphones, while brightening up your wardrobe.

We also love this oversized fit quilted denim jacket with cord collar that’s a modern take on a timeless style, complete with a corduroy collar, deep pockets and dark wash that could be worn with jeans for a double denim ensemble or a pair of chinos and Chelsea boots. 

Funnel necks are proving popular across men’s and womenswear this season, and this denim jacket with funnel neck is an easy way to adopt the trend. It has that stiff denim structure in a mid-blue wash, and an elasticated hem, so it leans slightly towards a bomber style.
