
22x1: Across Canada, We Go!
The chefs pick an ingredient from the pantry and are tasked with preparing a dish while also incorporating the judges' surprise ingredients; for the Elimination Challenge, the chefs prepare dishes that highlight Canada's five diverse regions.
guest judges: Top Chef Canada winners Nicole Gomes and Dale MacKay, Top Chef Canada judge David Zilber, chef/restaurateur Jeremy Charles, and chef Sheila Flaherty
quickfire challenge: make a dish using tomatoes, chives, clams, and 1 ingredient chosen by each chef

red team: Lana (portobello mushroom), Paula (corn), Vinny (apple)
yellow team: César (fennel), Katianna (apple), Mimi (corn)
green team: Massimo (king oyster mushroom), Shuai (maple syrup), Tristen (bok choy)
winning team: yellow team (apple & fennel soup with clams, corn, and chorizo relish
prize: $5000 per person
elimination challenge: using the same teams, each team was assigned ingredients that represented one of the five regions of Canada.
judging: in each team, one person is in the top (eligible to win the challenge), one person is safe, and one person is in the bottom (eligible for elimination)

West coast: Lana, Paula, Vinny (Pacific salmon, Salt Spring Island lamb, Red Fife wheat, foraged mushrooms, hazelnuts, and plums)
North region: Anya, Bailey, Zubair (beets, carrots, crowberries, turbot, arctic char, and oats)
Central region: César, Katianna, Mimi (rainbow trout, peaches, corn, ice wine, pea shoots, and pork)
Atlantic region: Massimo, Shuai, Tristen (cod, dulse seaweed, potatoes, snow crab, blueberries, and Screech rum)
Prairie region: Corwin, Henry, Kat (ribeye, walleye pike, red lentils, sour cherries, tomatoes, and cold-pressed canola oil)
top: Anya, César, Henry, Shuai, Vinny
safe: Corwin, Katianna, Lana, Tristen, Zubair
bottom: Bailey, Kat, Massimo, Mimi, Paula
winner: Vinny (confit salmon with miso hazelnut butter mushrooms and consommé)
prize: immunity for next week's elimination challenge
eliminated: Mimi (grilled pork loin and potato puree with corn beurre monté and peach relish
