Few movie stars carry as much name recognition as Tom Hanks, who has starred in some of the most important movies of all time. Hanks is a two-time Oscar-winner, and he even won his awards in back-to-back years for his performances in Philadelphia and Forrest Gump. Hanks was nominated five years prior for his work on Big, and he’s also been nominated for his performances in Saving Private Ryan, Cast Away, and A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood — most fans agree that Hanks losing for Saving Private Ryan is one of the most surprising snubs of all time. More recently, Hanks starred in one of the most underrated Apple TV projects in history with Greyhound, the WWII submarine thriller co-starring Stephen Graham. Hanks and Graham are set to return in a sequel to Greyhound that’s coming to Apple TV soon.
