The fascination that Tom Hanks has with vintage typewriters and World War II stories cannot be overstated. He has written a collection of short stories based on the former, and has starred in and produced a bunch of projects about the latter. While most of his fans would be familiar with his blockbuster hit Saving Private Ryan, one of his best-received WWII projects sort of slipped under the radar when it was first released. But in the years since, it has remained a constant favorite on streaming. The movie Greyhoundis now gaining steam on Apple TV+ once again, about five years after its original release.
