Tom Brady is still not done with the NFL. After winning seven Super Bowls, five SB MVP Awards, three NFL MVP awards, and inspiring generations, Brady still thinks there is something missing in the game itself. But what’s that?

In his new Instagram story, TB12 took a hit at the different kinds of culture and traditions in football while comparing it to other sports where he has his own team. Just imagine you playing the game for 22 years and still missing that one thing that your soccer franchise has.

After his soccer team, Birmingham City, won the EFL League One title, Tom Brady posted a picture of his team on his Instagram stories. The football GOAT’s story had an overlay text that says it all: “Centurions.” Brady wrote this word while celebrating the team’s unbelievable points record that went beyond, of course, 100.

But the real story here is what Brady wrote after mentioning Centurion. He jokingly said, “What a cool title,” after winning the EFL League One title. He also added, “We have nothing like that in the NFL 😂,” emphasizing the word “Centurions.” By pointing out that mistake, Brady was just humorously noting that the NFL doesn’t have a century-style scoring system.

Teams hardly ever score 50 points, and there is nothing in the NFL that refers to points in that manner. Translation: Though Brady dreams of scoring a century through points in the NFL, he achieved it with his soccer team, where millions are at stake.

Tom Brady holds a 3.3% stake in the Birmingham City team, which is valued at around $46.53 million. That means Brady has a $1.1 million stake in the team. He first invested in the soccer team in August 2023. He became a minority owner, much like his involvement with the Las Vegas Raiders. While he hasn’t yet celebrated a big victory with the Raiders, Brady is fulfilling his dream in soccer.

We’ll get to why the team is called the Centurions, but for more on Brady’s reaction to Birmingham City’s 4-0 victory over Mansfield Town, the football legend also shared more. While celebrating, Brady noted that his team did it in front of their ‘blue army.’ The team didn’t lose a single game at home this season. But aside from that, do you know what milestone Brady’s team has achieved? Well, the answer lies in the word Brady mentioned above.

Tom Brady’s Birmingham City crosses a milestone

Brady’s Birmingham City took advantage of playing six games before the league title and made history with it. Birmingham City beat Mansfield Town 4-0, scoring a total of 105 points, and broke Wolverhampton’s record from the 2013-14 season.

The ‘Blue Army’ suffered heartbreak in the 2024 season after facing defeats in the championship. However, over the summer, they made a series of statement signings and pulled up their socks to return to the second tier. This time, they succeeded. Thanks to four goals from K. Anderson, W. Willumsson, K. Dowell, and T. Iwata, they secured the victory. Anderson and Willumsson scored in the first half, while Dowell and Iwata scored in the second half.

Brady’s Birmingham City is now at the top of EFL League One with 43 games played and 31 wins. Wrexham followed them, but with just 86 points. It’s a great achievement for Tom Brady’s team, reflecting strong leadership and a winning mentality both on and off the pitch. There’s a real buzz around the club, and the fans are dreaming big. Let’s keep watching—there’s no telling what else the Patriots legend has up his sleeve for this exciting journey.
