Tifa Becomes a Biker With FFVII Ever Crisis Rider Jacket and Gloves

Square Enix updated its Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis banners, and it means Tifa from the original FFVII storyline gets a biker sort of costume called Rider Jacket and matching Riding Gloves weapons. That will appear until July 1, 2026. It also offers another chance to get Red XIII’s Brisingamen collar Ultimate Weapon.

Both of these are five-star pieces of equipment for Tifa. The Rider Jacket comes with the Ultra Freezing Drive C Ability that deals 2,000% physical ice damage to one enemy while also applies ice weapon boost to all allies’ C and UC ability damage for a limited time. Its R Abilities are Boost PATK too boost her physical attack and Wide Open Throttle, which adds a minimum 15% ice ability damage bonus and boosts physical ability damage and HP if her Attack Stance Command Gauge is maxed. Her Riding Gloves has the C Ability Freezing Drive that deals up to 1,340% physical ice damage (before Heart Custom) to an enemy and also inflicts the single-target ice damage received up status. Its R Abilities are Boost Ice Potency and Boost Physical Ability Potency.

Here are the infographics for the equipment. There’s no official trailer showing her performing the new C Abilities yet, but those types of videos tend to show up after banners launch.

Prior to biker Tifa showing up in FFVII Ever Crisis, we saw some elements referencing Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII to honor the end of that event storyline. The third and final part showed up in May 2026. Alongside it, we saw a Chaos costume for Vincent and an Omega costume for the original version of Sephiroth.

FFVII Ever Crisis is available for PCs and mobile devices and has a Rider Jacket and Riding Gloves Tifa equipment banner until July 1, 2026.
