Three Toronto Blue Jays prospects were named to represent the American League at the Fall Stars Game at the Arizona Fall League.

First baseman Peyton Williams, infielder/outfielder Adrian Pinto and right-handed pitcher Lazaro Estrada were all selected for the contest, which will be played on Saturday at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT.

All eight Blue Jays participating in the fall league are playing with the Scottsdale Scorpions.

Williams has slashed .294/.351/.515 over 16 games with the Scorpions while hitting four doubles, a triple and three home runs. The 24-year-old fondly known as “The Iowa Meat Truck” will also participate in the Fall League’s Home Run Derby on Friday night.

A seventh-round pick by the Blue Jays in 2022, Williams spent the majority of his injury-shortened minor-league season with the high-A Vancouver Canadians, earning a spot on the Northwest League All-Star team after posting an .838 OPS with 11 home runs and 50 RBIs in 77 games.

Pinto has spent much of the fall leading off for the Scorpions, slashing .286/.407/.343 with three extra-base hits, 12 walks and five stolen bases.

Originally acquired by Toronto alongside Raimel Tapia in exchange for Randal Grichuk, the 22-year-old Pinto also spent most of the 2024 season in Vancouver. His year was cut short by injury, however, as he only appeared in 16 games with the Canadians, hitting three home runs and eight doubles while carrying a .927 OPS.

Estrada, meanwhile, has appeared in four games for the Scorpions, carrying a 3.86 ERA, 0.94 WHIP and .167 batting average against over 11.2 innings. He also struck out 19 hitters while issuing just four walks.

A 25-year-old Cuban native, Estrada split time between Vancouver and double-A New Hampshire this summer. The five-foot-10 righty dominated while with the Canadians, posting a 1.96 ERA over 41.1 innings. His best start of the season came on June 18 when he threw a no-hitter against the Los Angeles Angels high-A affiliate.

In double-A, Estrada worked 52.1 innings over 11 starts with a 4.47 ERA and 55 strikeouts.

The Fall Stars Game comes the weekend before the final week of the play in Arizona. Scottsdale still has four games next week with an outside chance of earning a spot in the two-day playoffs on Nov. 15 and 16.
