The woman Strictly Come Dancing star Thomas Skinner had an affair with has claimed she was ’emotionally tortured’ by the businessman and that she told his wife, as opposed to him doing so as he has said.
The 34-year-old Essex native, who rose to fame on the 2019 series of The Apprentice, married Sinéad Chambers in 2022, at which point they already shared a two-year-old son.
Ahead of his Strictly debut, Skinner revealed he was unfaithful to his wife in a ‘two-week fling’, which occurred shortly after the pair tied the knot.
Just one week before he is set to take to the Strictly dancefloor, Skinner described the affair as ‘the biggest mistake of [his] life’ and the moment he came clean to Chambers as ‘the worst thing [he’s] ever had to do.’
However, Amy-Lucy O’Rourke, the 35-year-old aesthetician and mother of one whom Skinner had an affair with, has now claimed she was the one who told his wife, not him.

She told the Daily Mail: ‘It makes me really angry that his narrative is that he told her.

‘He did not tell her. I can’t believe he’s trying to make out that he did the honest thing. He did not, he tried to keep the lie up for weeks and was torturing me emotionally.
‘He was playing me and Sinead off against each other. Telling me one thing, telling her another.’
O’Rourke also provided the publication with Ring doorbell footage from the time, in which Skinner can be seen shouting outside her house and banging on the door. In the footage, O’Rourke tells him to go away and answers the door to tell him her son is asleep.
The aesthetician has provided photos and videos of the pair, claiming their affair was conducted over months and they went out together as a couple.

‘Thomas told me I was the love of his life and sold me an absolute dream,’ she told the Mail. ‘He told me that he was in a loveless relationship of convenience.’
Meanwhile, in Skinner’s interview with The Sun, he claimed their relationship was a ‘two-week fling’.
‘It was the one time, it was a mistake. I woke up feeling absolutely terrible about it,’ said Skinner.
‘I felt so guilty, I told my wife. I let her down in that brief moment of madness where I wasn’t thinking, where I didn’t appreciate what I had.’
Metro contacted Thomas Skinner’s representative for comment.
Strictly Come Dancing returns on BBC One this Saturday.
