THIS Morning descended into chaos as stand-in host Andi Peters left co-star Josie Gibson squirming with a cheeky sex joke.

The TV veteran, 53, made the risqué remark during a light-hearted segment, catching co-host Josie completely off guard.

Fans at home, however, weren’t laughing, with many slamming the comment as “awkward” and “insufferable to watch” for the morning show.

Monday’s episode of This Morning saw Josie and Andi interview Brittany Hugoboom live from New York.

Brittany is the co-founder and editor in chief of Evie, a publication dedicated to celebrating “femininity.”

But a question from Andi left her speechless – and Josie not knowing where to look.

Recalling some opinions in Evie, Andi asked: “Some articles suggest that a woman’s duty is to entertain their husband.”

He added: “You are on daytime television, so be careful how you choose your words, do you really stand by that?”

A confused Brittany replied: “I don’t know what you mean by entertain your husband… what do you mean by that?”

An embarrassed Andi repeated the question, and then added: “In the bedroom one is assuming that you mean.”

In an attempt to diffuse the awkwardness, a red-faced Rosie chimed in: “Maybe a little dance?”

Brittany answered: “I mean, I do think that is an important part of married life for sure… for men and for women.

“I don’t know what I can say on daytime television, but I do think you should have a very good life in that way when you are married. I think it is a beautiful thing.”

At the end of the very awkward interview, Andi spoke to Jane Moore from Loose Women and joked: “We did that interview so you didn’t have to,” leaving her in stitches.

Meanwhile, ITV viewers have slammed Andi for “hogging” the show and pleaded him to “shut up.”

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, one viewer wrote: “Andi Peters is insufferable to watch.”
