However, he learns that some plans are easier to craft than to execute when his grandma becomes a tough nut to crack. The Hollywood Reporter revealed that Miramax has acquired the rights to remake the film in an American setting. The Thai version was one of the biggest films in Asia in 2024, earning over $55 million at the international box office. The film was also the first Thai film to be nominated for an Oscar for the 97th Academy Awards for Best International Feature Film.
