This Box Office Bomb with 97% Rotten Tomatoes Audience Score Finds New Spark on Paramount+

The year 2025 was especially noteworthy for animated movies. Inside Out 2 and Moana 2 both cracked the $1 billion mark worldwide, while Despicable Me 4 made nearly $1 billion itself, and Mufasa: The Lion King grossed more than $700 million worldwide. Even Kung Fu Panda 4 managed to crack the half-billion mark globally. However, there was a notable outlier. Paramount's Transformers One tanked at the box office despite having earned the best-ever reviews for a Transformers movie. It is now redeeming itself on the Paramount+ streaming charts.
