This ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ Star Just Confirmed They’re the Film’s “Secret Weapon”

In a post-Endgame era, Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange is considered to be the OG Avenger who could deal with the multiversal incursions. The post-credit scene of Multiverse of Madness and his indispensable role in Spider-Man: No Way Home fairly pointed in that direction before Marvel Studios went a complete 180 and brought in Robert Downey Jr’s Doctor Doom into the fold. Then Cumberbatch created more confusion by revealing that he isn’t part of the Avengers: Doomsdaylineup and then going 180 on that statement. Thankfully, now, the actor has revealed that he’s Kevin Feige’s secret weapon in the upcoming superhero mashup.
