The Big Country is must-watch entertainment, if for no other reason than its epic fist fight between Charlton Heston and Gregory Peck. A staple of classic Western movies, fist fights are so common in the genre that there's almost an expectation for at least one brawl to break out in any good-quality Western. That's especially the case with John Wayne's movies, but this trope applies to the movies of other actors' Westerns as well, with Clint Eastwood, Randolph Scott, Burt Lancaster, and Glenn Ford all enjoying their fair share of heated fist fights over the years.
