By the sound of it, Jai Courtney hasn’t completely thrown his boomerang for the last time. Or maybe he's just waiting on it coming back. After taking a step back from big studio films to focus on family and personal renewal, the Suicide Squad actor is back in the spotlight with Dangerous Animals, a serial killer-meets-shark thriller premiering July 23. But even as he embraces darker material (and dances after his character’s kills), Courtney still can’t shake the charm of one of his most beloved — and certifiably unhinged — roles: Captain Boomerang.
