Netflix recently premiered the first season of its modern reimagining of Judy Blume's 1975 novel about the intensity of teenage love and sex in the teen drama, Forever. Set in Los Angeles in 2018, the series follows Justin Edwards (Michael Cooper Jr.) and Keisha Clark (Lovie Simone), childhood classmates who reconnect as teenagers in their senior year of high school. The eight-episode series sees the two Black teens explore their identities and tackle risqué subjects such as sex and love beyond the sphere of family. Despite being each other's firsts, Keisha and Justin end Forever Season 1 separated, in what was a painful yet clean split. So, might there be a second season for the teen drama?
