Nearly 16 years after the world changed forever, The Walking Dead is still shambling along on AMC. The flagship show based on Robert Kirkman's comics may have come to an end, but spin-offs have kept the walker-infested world very much alive, with The Walking Dead: Dead City Season 3 continuing to follow Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and Maggie (Lauren Cohan) in Manhattan and The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon preparing to say goodbye to Daryl (Norman Reedus) and Carol (Melissa McBride) with its fourth and final run next year. Yet, the heights of the series are still in the rearview mirror. It's been hard to replicate the historic accomplishments of the original show, which peaked with a staggering 14.38 million average same-day viewers in Season 5.
