The US version of The Traitors has announced its star-studded cast for this year

The US spin-off of The Traitors has sent fans into a frenzy after announcing its ‘slam dunk casting’.

After the third season of the devilish game show premiered in January last year, fans described it as the ‘best show on TV’.

Boasting high-stakes drama and jaw-dropping twists, the show has captured audiences on both sides of the Atlantic, as Brits are also gearing up for the Celebrity version that is due to air this Autumn.

Hosted by the charming Alan Cumming, previous series in the US have included a mix of athletes and reality TV royalty.

Now, a star-studded cast for season 4 of the game show has been announced, with high-profile names such as Love Island legend Maura Higgins featuring.

In a cast announcement, Travis Kelce’s mother Donna, Lisa Rinna, Tiffany Mitchell and Porsha Williams were among those to be included.

Michael Rapoport, Caroline Stanbury, Johnny Weri and Tara Lipinski will also be featuring.

Taking to X, @ryan_reflects wrote: ‘This cast for #TheTraitors US Season 4 is absolutely nuts. It’s the most excited I’ve been for the celebrity cast. I’m ready for the chaos.’

@mmdisney200 echoed this by writing: ‘I can’t wait!!’

@VRTpod added: ‘Season 4 of The Traitors cast just got announced and we’re ready for it to start like… yesterday.’

@SkillfulAnalys1 also described the announcement as a ‘Slam dunk casting!’

Dorina Medley is making a sensational return after being booted out of season 3 at an early stage.

Colton Underwood from The Bachelor, Ian Terry from Big Brother and Survivor stars Rob Cesternino, Natalie Anderson and Yamil “Yam Yam” Arocho will all also be there.

No release date for the upcoming season has yet been announced.

The Peacock competition sees different personalities coming together to try and win a $250,000 cash prize.

Last year saw the Faithfuls win, as Gabby Windey, Dylan Efron, Dolores Catania, and Lord Ivar Mountbatten split $204,300 four ways.

The Traitors US season 4 will be available to watch on Peacock.
