The long-gestating remake of The Thomas Crown Affair finally has a release date. The original 1968 movie starred Steve McQueen as a millionaire playboy who orchestrated a heist. It was remade in 1999 with Pierce Brosnan in the lead. The Thomas Crown Affair remake, which was written by Drew Pearce, will be produced and directed by Michael B. Jordan, who will also star alongside Bones and All's Taylor Russell. Jordan originally pitched the project to MGM in 2016, which was followed by Amazon announcing their intention to reboot the franchise in 2023 after acquiring the studio.
