The Wizard of Oz has been reimagined countless times, but its latest iteration — debuting Thursday night at Las Vegas’ Sphere — comes with an eyebrow-raising twist, and something of an icky one too. At a press walkthrough of the venue’s new immersive attraction, Sphere Entertainment executive chairman and CEO James Dolan revealed that he and Warner Bros. Discovery chief David Zaslavhave been digitally inserted into the 1939 classic via artificial intelligence.
