The Simpsons fans are celebrating all their ‘hopes and dreams’ coming true after not one, but two major announcements.
The beloved animated series has been running for nearly four decades, with viewers having been first introduced to the dysfunctional yellow family back in 1989.
Since then, more than 700 episodes of Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie’s antics have been broadcast.
And now, you can watch them all day, every day.
Disney+ has announced a new 24/7 stream, showing 767 episodes of The Simpsons from the first ever season up to the 35th.
‘From day one, the fans have asked for a Stream of The Simpsons and we’re happy to oblige,’ Gabe Lewis, SVP of programming and content curation for Disney+ said in a statement.
‘Streams on Disney+ have been a fantastic go-to experience for subscribers looking to sit back and relax with their favourite shows and movies, and we look forward to evolving the user experience and expanding the offering with more Streams, to more subscribers, later this year.’
Showrunner Matt Selman added: ‘The Simpsons Stream will deliver a Simpsons marathon all day, every day — no matter when you tune in, this ultimate Simpsons binge will be there.’
The Simpsons programming lineup will be refreshed monthly, with the Streams channel available for Disney+ premium subscribers in the US from today, alongside the service’s other nonstop playlists including Real Life, Hits & Heroes, and Throwbacks.
Fans are ecstatic over the news, with JollyRoger writing on X: ‘For those curious, it will take the stream roughly 282 hours to cycle through all of the episodes, which is about 12 days. So if you strategize properly, you’d only have to take 8 days off work to get this done.’

Dean0mac said: ‘Absolutely love this show. Been watching since it came out.’
MrKnish added: ‘This is great. Going to be a lot of lost hours of productivity when people start binge watching.’
‘Somewhere, a fan is about to lose weeks of their life,’ @The_Epic_Scenes also wrote, while Jyotsna called the news ‘superb’.
‘Probably one of the best ideas to come out of Disney+,’ Johnny added.
Ben meanwhile said: ‘This is the culmination of all my hopes and dreams.’
And as if that wasn’t enough, the announcement comes in time with the first five episodes of season 36 dropping for UK fans on Disney+, with new episodes arriving weekly on Mondays.
The episodes have already aired on Fox in America, but this marks a huge change as the show is now airing exclusively on Disney+, instead of Channel 4 and Sky.
After a long wait since the new season aired across the pond, UK fans can now indulge in the latest episodes too.
The Simpsons is available to stream on Disney+.
