'The Rookie' Is Long Overdue for the Return of This Fan Favorite Character

Editor's Note: The following contains spoilers for The Rookie Season 7, Episode 17.A major character was missing in action in the latest episode of The Rookie Season 7. The recent episode, "The Mutiny and the Bounty," features a plot involving Chastity Sneed (Meg DeLacy), the girlfriend of Pete Nolan (Pete Davidson). Pete Nolan also happens to be the dysfunctional half-brother of series protagonist John Nolan (Nathan Fillion). However, the episode had to significantly work around the fact that the comedian was not available to reprise his role for the episode. It’s getting more noticeable that Davidson has been missing in action from the series since the Season 4 finale, and it's time John Nolan’s dimwitted half-brother return to The Rookie.
