Dr. Jack Abbot (Shawn Hatosy) had a big reveal about his prosthetic leg in the finale of The Pitt season 1, and it changed a very subtle line he had a few episodes prior. Abbot was one of the best characters in The Pitt, even though his position on the night crew meant he wasn't around for most of the shift. He had a great rapport with Dr. Robby (Noah Wyle), he made a huge difference during the PittFest shooting, and he just came across as a very likable character. Luckily, Abbot is one of the characters confirmed to return in The Pitt season 2.
