DC Comics fans are getting a taste of Emmy gold tonight, as HBO's critically adored The Penguin has just taken home a major category, courtesy of the season's widely acclaimed star, Cristin Milioti. This marks the first-ever nomination and win for the Black Mirror and Palm Springs star, and her passionate acceptance speech further highlighted her great love and admiration for her art form by yelling "I love acting!" As fans of HBO's hit The Batman spin-off already know, Milioti played the show's main antagonist of Sofia Falcone (later Sofia Gigante) as she tried to fill Gotham City's power vacuum after the death of her father, Carmine Falcone (played by John Turturro in The Batman and then by Mark Strong in The Penguin).
