Despite the staggering performance of Spider-Man: Brand New Day this past weekend, The Odyssey managed to stand its ground at the box office. The mythological epic grossed more than $50 million in its third weekend domestically, and combined with Spider-Man: Brand New Day's $350 million-plus debut, took the domestic box office to a record-breaking $430 million in combined revenue. Produced on a reported budget of $250 million, The Odyssey also passed the $900 million mark worldwide, and will hit the coveted $1 billion milestone by the coming weekend.
