The Internet Can’t Agree on TLC’s Latest ‘1000-Lb Sisters’ Spin-Off — Is It Must-Watch TV or a Step Too Far?

Along with 1000-Lb Sisters and 1000-Lb Best Friends, the TLC network has announced a new reality TV spin-off and fans can’t seem to agree on whether the new show will be a beneficial addition to the franchise. 1000-Lb Sisters features Amy Slaton-Haltermanand Tammy Slaton, sisters who weighed about 1000 pounds combined. The show debuted in 2020 when the sisters began considering bariatric surgery. 1000-Lb Sisters has been on air for five seasons and has gone on to showcase the entire family, including the rest of the Slaton siblings, and all of their weight-loss journeys.
