Several of the biggest shows on Prime Video came to an end in 2026. The most high-profile was The Boys, Eric Kripke's defining series in an era of superhero fatigue, which has won a total of five Primetime Emmys. Karl Urban's Billy Butcher, Jack Quaid's Hughie Campbell, Antony Starr's Homelander, and more all returned for an explosive, epic conclusion to this hard-hitting series, with the ambitious last chapter paying off, as an average of 57 million viewers tuned in per episode, making Season 5 the most-watched in the show's history. Other examples of recent hits for the platform include the sci-fi Western Fallout as well as Alan Ritchson's monster-hit action thriller saga Reacher.
