The Cure, Lewis Capaldi and Calvin Harris have been announced as the headliners for Isle Of Wight Festival 2026.

The annual festival will take place from June 18 to 21 June at Seaclose Park, and the headliners will be joined by a host of names, including Sex Pistols featuring Frank Carter, The Last Dinner Party, Wet Leg, Teddy Swims, Tom Grennan, The Kooks and Feeder.

Also announced so far are Rick Astley, David Gray, Five, KT Tunstall, Shed Seven, Starsailor, Suzanne Vega, Anastacia, Jo Whiley’s 90s Anthems and Luvcat. Many more names are still to be announced.

Tickets for the festival will go on sale at 8am on Wednesday (October 1) and you will be able to get yours here.

Speaking about the line-up, festival director Caroline Giddings has said: “It might be our best line-up yet. It’s my favourite so far, at least. We’re proud to put the future of music and current stars on a bill alongside artists like The Cure and the Sex Pistols, who helped lay the foundation of pop culture.”

She added: “The festival has always been an extension of the Isle of Wight’s rich cultural history. From Lewis Carroll and Tennyson to Julia Margaret Cameron, the island has been a source of inspiration for artists through time. We always try to honour that by presenting the very best music has to offer, giving people an unforgettable festival experience in the process.”

The Cure will top the bill on the Sunday night (June 21), and it is the latest major headline set announced for their summer of 2026, after Primavera Sound, Rock En Seine and Nova Rock.

Robert Smith and co. haven’t played live since their ‘Songs Of A Lost World’ album launch show at London’s Troxy last November. With news of their upcoming return to the stage, however, it is now expected that the follow-up to their 2024 record will be out before the summer.

Smith has previously revealed that The Cure have another new record that’s “virtually finished” – with a third new LP on the way too. He has also suggested that he wants to complete one of these projects before the band hit the road again.

Capaldi will headline the Friday night (June 19), a date that will come just before the launch of his UK and Ireland headline tour next summer. His dates include huge shows in Dublin, Limerick, Exeter, Cardiff, Belfast and Manchester, as well as two nights headlining BST Hyde Park 2026 as well as Leeds’ new Roundhay Festival.

Saturday night’s Isle Of Wight line-up will be topped by Harris, who has also been announced as a headliner for Creamfields 2026 on the August Bank Holiday Weekend.
