‘The Chosen: Last Supper – Part 3’ Exits Theaters as Lowest-Grossing Entry

The Chosen has finally wrapped up its latest run at the box office after releasing all three installments of Last Supper, but it appears the release strategy may not have been as profitable as it first appeared. The Chosen hopped back into theaters a few weeks ago with tremendous success as Last Supper — Part 1 grossed over $23 million at the worldwide box office, but things quickly began to taper off for the series. The Chosen: Last Supper — Part 2 followed behind, barely earning half of this, finishing with $12.2 million, and Part 3 left theaters after grossing $11.4 million, the lowest of all three installments. The Chosen: Last Supper is officially not playing in theaters anymore, and its last outing came from Part 3, which grossed $1.5 million at the box office the weekend of April 18.
