The Boys showrunner Eric Kripke has unveiled a new NSFW octopus sex toy in celebration of the Gen V Season 2 premiere.
The first three episodes of Gen V’s second season are now available to stream on Amazon Prime Video. Based on the “We Gotta Go Now” storyline by Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson, The Boys spin-off show stars Jay Sinclair as Marie Moreau, Lizze Broadway as Emma Meyer, Maddie Phillips as Cate Dunlap, London Thor and Derek Luh as Jordan Li, Asa Germann as Sam Riordan, Sean Patrick Thomas as Polarity, and Hamish Linklater as Dean Cipher.
What did The Boys’ Eric Kripke say about the octopus sex toy?
On Twitter, Kripke shared an unboxing video revealing a new octopus sex toy that will be available to purchase at Adam & Eve on October 8, which also happens to be World Octopus Day.
“Today is Gen V day,” Kripke says in the video. “Gen V premieres on Amazon Prime. Go check it out. To celebrate, I’m going to do an unboxing video — not just any unboxing video. I’m going to be unboxing all of my hopes and dreams. For years, I have been dreaming of making a Boys-themed sex toy. Finally, the good folks at adamandeve.com have answered my prayers and have created this beauty. Ambrosius. The octopus. Where you can have your own herogasm.”
Ambrosius is a character from The Boys who is voiced by Tilda Swinton. The octopus had a romantic relationship with The Deep, played by Chace Crawford; however, The Deep kills her in Season 4 shortly after he has an affair with Sister Sage.
The Boys Season 5 will be the final season of the popular superhero series, though a release date has not been set. In addition to Gen V, two other spin-off shows are being developed, titled Vought Rising and The Boys: Mexico.
