Over the years, Jeopardy! has seen a variety of stars appear on the show, but there’s one contestant in particular who stands out the most, and he’s not from Hollywood. Jeopardy! first began in 1964 and it was created by Merv Griffin. Together with his wife, they brainstormed the now-famous "answer-and-question" format that instantly won over the series' viewership.
