'The Accountant 2's Rotten Tomatoes Score Keeps Dropping and Dropping

Nearly 10 years after the original The Accountant emerged as a surprise hit, The Accountant 2 is debuting wide this week; it'll challenge the holdover hit Sinners for the top spot at the box office, but will likely lose. Not because it's getting poor reviews out of the gate — the film's Rotten Tomatoes score is still in the "fresh" zone — but because Sinners can be counted upon to exceed expectations once again, after a record debut last week. That being said, The Accountant 2's Rotten Tomatoes rating isn't as encouraging as it was only a few days ago. A clearer picture of its audience reception will emerge tomorrow, when it receives a CinemaScore grade.
