‘The Accountant 2’ Passes Ben Affleck’s Sports Drama with 97% Rotten Tomatoes Audience Score

If this year has proven one thing, it’s that older males shouldn’t be slept on as a potentially lucrative box office demographic. They’ve turned up in droves to watch films such as A Working Man and The Amateur — the two movies have grossed a combined total of nearly $200 million worldwide — and have pushed The Accountant 2 towards the coveted $100 million mark worldwide as well. Directed by Gavin O’Connor and starring Ben Affleck, the movie will almost certainly fall short of its predecessor, but its performance so far cannot be overlooked.
