Swamp People has been entertaining History Channel fans since 2010. Documenting the day-to-day lives of alligator hunters living in the humid swamps of the Atchafalaya River Basin. Capturing the hunting season of September each year, hunters are each issued a certain number of tags that they must attach to their kills. Should they tag out within the 30-day window, their season is over. As money is at the top of the mind of many of the hunters, capturing the biggest gators is the draw each year.
