Authorities reportedly discovered what appear to be human remains near Taylor Swift‘s Rhode Island mansion, which is popularly known as the “Holiday House.” As per reports, the human remains were found in the luxury Watch Hill neighborhood, which is near Swift’s seaside property.

Rhode Island police revealed that human remains were likely found on a beach path on Everett Avenue, which is minutes away from Taylor Swift‘s mansion. As per the police, they found a human leg bone and sent it to the Rhode Island Medical Examiner’s Office for further investigation (via The Independent).

Westerly Police Chief Paul Gingerella reportedly stated that the authorities are not suspecting any foul play. However, a resident of the area told NBC 10, “I think finding a leg is very suspicious.” The resident also mentioned that the Watch Hill neighborhood is a posh area. “I would never expect anything like that—especially not in Watch Hill.”

Swift bought her famous Rhode Island waterfront home back in 2013 for $17.75 million. The mansion has been the pop icon’s favorite destination to host her famous 4th of July parties. The Grammy winner threw several 4th of July star-studded parties at the Holiday House.

Selena Gomez, Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, the Haim sisters, and others appeared for the parties over the years. In 2024, the “Mirrorball” hitmaker reportedly invited her beau, Travis Kelce, Patrick, and Brittany Mahomes to an August vacation at the famous property.

Recent reports state that T. Swizzle is planning some renovations of the beach house. According to a building permit, Swift plans to add a bedroom and a couple more bathrooms to the beach abode. Additionally, one of the existing kitchens will also go through renovations for possible expansion. Overall, the expenditure for the renovation can go up to $1.7 million.

The singer’s property renovations have fueled speculation about the artist’s future plans. Sources close to Kelce have previously revealed that the NFL heartthrob could propose to Swift on an upcoming vacation.
