Landman was renewed for Season 3 in December 2025 amid its sophomore run, which concluded this January. Since then, fans have eagerly awaited news of when the hit oil-industry drama would return. Now, however, it appears the series has hit a slight setback. Inspired by Christian Wallace's Texas-set podcast Boomtown, Landman was co-created by Taylor Sheridan and Wallace. The series premiered in 2024 and has since become one of Paramount+'s biggest successes, earning strong viewership alongside generally positive reviews.
