A week ago, Jordan Chiles was making headlines for rumors of going DWTS, which ultimately turned out to be true, of course. In an Instagram post made on September 3, Chiles had donned a dance dress, a turquoise blue with a plunging V-neckline and sleeveless cut, covered in sequins and finished with fringe. Caption: “Chat- we made it!!!! DWTS!!! p.s- when fifth harmony has a reunion!!!” Now, as it seems Hunter Woodhall wanted Tara Davis Woodhall to follow the same path before the announcement came.
A Reel went up on the Woodhall Instagram account a week ago, a regular video of the couple warming up on the track, doing their daily athletics exercises. In that video, Hunter suggested his wife, “You should do Dancing with the Stars.” And Tara replied, “Dude, don’t start. Too many people have said that, and it’s like, I’m not dancing with someone else.” Well, there goes that boat and romantically.
Happy with that answer, Hunter came running to the Olympian and dapped her while saying, “Dance partners!” He added, “I don’t really have much to do today, so I’m just trying to waste time so Tara can get her workout in. She’s got important stuff coming up. Sugar mommy duties. Bill’s got to get paid. So I’m going to be patient. Let her do what she needs to do. Take care of business.” Of course, he was talking about the upcoming World Athletics Championships. But DWTS could have helped them a little differently, too.
US Weekly reports that professional dancers on Dancing with the Stars start out earning about $1,200 per week. Their pay rises the longer they remain on the show. The top dancers can make as much as $5,000 per episode, which may seem substantial, but with only 10 to 15 episodes per season, that adds up to roughly $50,000 to $75,000 in total. Other sources also report that they receive a starting salary of $125,000, which covers their training, at least 20 hours per week, including the weeks leading up to the season premiere.
