Set for release on October 17, the record will mark the follow-up to 2020’s ‘The Slow Rush’, and has already been previewed by two singles, ‘End Of Summer’ and ‘Loser’.
Today (Friday September 26), a new single called ‘Dracula’ has been shared, which showcases Parker’s signature vocal style, alongside a thumping beat and subtle nods to an underground rave scene.
It goes hand-in-hand with the sound of the album as a whole, which promises to be “ deeply inspired by bush doof culture and the Western Australia rave scene”, as well as one that reestablishes Tame Impala “as a kind of future primitive rave act”.
“The morning light is turning blue, the feeling is bizarre/ The night is almost over, I still don’t know where you are/The shadows, yeah, they keep me pretty like a movie star/ Daylight makes me feel like Dracula,” Parker sings. Check out the song below, along with a music video directed by Julian Klincewicz.
Alongside the new song, Tame Impala has also shared details of a new UK and European arena tour, set to kick off in 2026.
Dates kick off in Portugal on April 4, and continue throughout Spain, France, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Sweden and more across the remainder of April and May. After a slot in Belgium on May 5, Parker will head over to the UK for five shows.
These include a night at The O2 in London on May 7, followed by shows in Manchester, Birmingham and Glasgow. Dates wrap up with a slot at the 3Arena in Dublin on May 13.
The new shows follow on from the 2025 US leg of the tour that Tame Impala announced earlier this month. For those dates, four new shows have been added today – with the tour now starting with two extra nights at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on October 27 and 28, and now ending with extra nights at the Oakland Arena on November 15 and the Kia Forum in Los Angeles on November 17.
Find an updated list of shows below, and visit here for US and European tickets, and here for UK tickets. Tickets for the UK and European dates go on sale next Friday (October 3) at 9am local time.

While Tame Impala has not officially performed live since March 2023, Parker did debut ‘End Of Summer’ during a DJ set at Primavera Sound in Barcelona earlier this year.
For ‘Loser’, the song arrived earlier this month alongside an official music video starring Stranger Things‘ Joe Keery (aka Djo). ‘Deadbeat’ will mark the fifth studio album from Tame Impala.
In the time since that 2020 record, Parker has contributed to the Barbie soundtrack album, and worked on projects with Dua Lipa, Thundercat, Diana Ross, Gorillaz and Justice.
The musician and producer also won his first Grammy for ‘Neverender’ – one of his collaborations with Justice – earlier this year, and reflected on the creation of his 2015 album ‘Currents’ to mark its 10th anniversary.
