From October 2025 to January 2026, The New Otani hotel in Japan will have rooms based on Tales of Xillia for guests to stay in. Prices start from 47,000 JPY ($314) per day, and guests will receive exclusive goods based on the game to take home.
Bookings start from September 29, 2025. The Tales of Xillia collaboration rooms will only be available from October 30, 2025 to January 31, 2026. You can choose between a one-person room or a two-person room. As well, you can choose not to have the hotel breakfast, which will cost less money.
The collaboration between Tales of Xillia and The New Otani hotel features a key visual starring the main characters wearing uniforms. Even Teepo is helping out as a waiter. Inside the rooms, guests will be able to see a commemorative illustration for the series’ 30th anniversary, which includes the protagonists from the previous games. This artwork, as well as close-ups of just Jude and Milla, appear on the goods that guests can take home with them. The exclusive merchandise are: a clear card, name plate set, hotel key holder, glass cups, and a pouch.

Tales of Xillia came out in 2011 as the thirteenth main installment of the long-running Tales series. As an anniversary title, it was the first Tales game that featured character designs from both Kosuke Fujishima (Phantasia, Symphonia) and Mutsumi Inomata (Destiny, Rebirth). Since it came out, Xillia was only ever on the PS3. However, in August 2025, Bandai Namco announced that a remastered version will come out in October 2025 for modern consoles.
The remastered version of Tales of Xillia will come out on October 30, 2025 for the PS5, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, and Windows PC.
