The history of Survivor is based around the over 700 players who hit the beat and changed the course of reality television forever. After 25 years, the show is gearing up for the milestone 50th season, which was meant to be a culmination and celebration of the 50 seasons. Well, casting seemed to botch that one. According to the casting of Survivor 50: In the Hands of the Fans, no significant new castaway played during the seasons in the 20s. In fact, the only two returnees who are back in Fiji for the upcoming season from that period of Survivor happened to be returning players, Ozzy Lusth and Benjamin “Coach” Wade. Oh, and they were selected to return after appearing on Survivor: South Pacific together.
